our Venue...The Alameda Open Air Theatre
In the Botanical Gardens, which date from 1816, this Theatre is situated in a magically beautiful setting complete with a pond with waterfal, with Koi Carp and a collection of exotic water lilies and grassed terraces surrounded by luscious tropical plants.
This theatre is a very unique venue, hence the perfect place for Fringe performances! Sure, it is outside, and yeah, there is water surrounding the stage, and yes, seagulls might be your background singers, least to forget the frogs....
It is all bout the fun and a very unique opportunity to perform in a setting, that you will not be able to find a second time!
As for the audience, it is the same, where else can you watch art in such a relaxed environment? Nowhere really!
